It was new-leaf and the frozen river had just thawed. Riverclan had been starving for the whole leaf-bare and now it was the perfect time to fish prey from the river. Limekit's mother, who was skinny, walked out of the nursery and stood in the sunlight to warm her shivering fur. "Finally, new-leaf has come. Maybe now, Riverclan can get fat from the fish we catch now." she mewed to herself.
